Mirror, Mirror on the Wall
Fairest of them all
A Mirror That Reflects More Than Your Face
Have you heard about the new kind of mirror that reflects back what is in your head? Like virtual reality goggles in reverse.
Think for a moment about what the experience of wearing the device would be like for you. What would be reflecting back? Would you see confidence and kindness, or perhaps self-doubt and anxiety staring back at you? Take a moment to consider this. Be honest. Is that what you want? Are these reflections of your best self?
Such a mirror exists - but it is not new. We all have one. Until it unavoidably breaks and exists no more.
Your Life is the Reflection of Your Mind
Your life is the mirror. It reflects back what is in your head. These reflections appear as expectations and emotions - which get bent into choices and behaviors - which in turn ultimately determine the arc of our lives. Of how we experience life. Both in terms of what comes to pass as we create our own reality, and how we respond to what uncontrollably happens to us.

Do You Deserve Better? The Mirror Knows
It has been my observation people fall short of what is possible because they didn’t believe they deserved better, not because they couldn’t do better. Or not because circumstances somehow conspired against them. Consider the person who repeatedly ends up in abusive relationships. Bad luck or deep down they don't believe they deserved better? The mirror works.
Is Life Really Unfair?
It is often said life is not fair. Things happen to people which seem totally unfair. Illness, exploitation - all manner of life changing misfortune. It goes the other way too. How can winning the lottery be fair?
Don’t buy the unfair premise. It will not serve you. Yes, shit happens and we need to deal with it. No doubt. But what could be more fair than each of us having the ability to respond in our own way? To create and live in the reflection of our own mentality.
Things Happen For You, Not To You
You see, things don't happen to you.
Things happen for you.
Four (for) is greater than two (to).
True joy is independent of circumstance.
Mirror, mirror on the wall …
With love and support,
